Library Board Approved Minutes 2016 Annual Meeting

DeForest Area Public Library Annual Library Board Minutes
Thursday, August 4, 2016 at 5:55 p.m.

1. Call to Order and Roll Call
   • President Van Iten called the meeting to order at 5:55 p.m.
   • Present : Englesby, Gorres, Hable, Runez, Van Iten.
   • Absent : Blount, Lawrence.
   • Also present : Berg, Newbegin.
2. Call for nomination of officers.
   • Gorres moved to re-elect the current slate of officers: Van Iten as President, Englesby as Vice President, Gorres as Secretary, and Lawrence as Treasurer.
   • Englesby seconded and moved that the nominations be closed and that a unanimous ballot be cast for the slate of officers.
   • Discussion : Brief discussion ensued.
   • Action : Approved.
3. Close nominations.
   • President Van Iten closed the nominations.
4. Election of officers.
   • By a unanimous ballot, the following officers were elected.
     • President : Van Iten.
     • Vice President : Englesby.
     • Secretary : Gorres.
     • Treasurer : Lawrence.
5. Select Date and Time of Regular Board Meetings.
   • Gorres moved to have the regular board meeting be held the first Thursday of the month at 6:00 p.m. in Conference Room D of the Library.
   • Second : Englesby.
   • Discussion : None.
   • Action : Approved.
6. Adjournment of Annual Meeting.
   • Motion to Adjourn : Englesby.
   • Second : Gorres.
   • Action : Approved.

Meeting was adjourned at 6:00 p.m.
