Qigong is a moving meditation that is simple, easy to learn, and can be done by everyone, at any age and fitness level. Just mirror the movements of the instructor and reduce tension, improve breathing, and increase flexibility. Do this outside and get a boost of fresh, balancing energy.
Anyone (age 16 & up) is invited to sign a waiver and participate.
Class will be moved indoors, if space is available, during poor weather.

What is compost and how can I use it in my yard? Why compost? What are the benefits of composting? Can I make my own compost?
Certified Master Gardener Anne Michels will answer these questions and many more during this talk. You will learn the role that oxygen, food and water play in the composting process. You will also learn what materials should never go in a compost pile.

Dr. Blum earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise Sport Science from the University of Wisconsin – La Crosse, and later when on to achieve his Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Creighton University. He grew up in the Madison area, attending Memorial High School and is excited to be back providing physical therapy to patients in the community in which he grew up.

Meet Janesville author Leanne Lippincott-Wuerthele, writer, newspaper columnist and inspirational speaker, who has survived three enormous storms that came her way, by using humor, and the power of love, family, friends, and faith.
When she was 38, her world was rocked, when her husband, a pilot, was killed when his plane crashed. The next 'storm' was breast cancer. A few years ago, she had an aneurysm and extensive brain surgery.
Despite all this, she’s turned to humor as a healing and survival tool.
Ron will talk about raising a small flock of chickens. Topics will include getting started, breed selection, and a few rules to follow. He’ll also cover a few common problems people might encounter and some ways to prevent them, and leave time to answer questions.
