Ali, the library’s Maker Librarian comes to visit! 

She’ll be telling us about the library’s Workshop space. 

Have you ever wondered what goes on in that room downstairs? 

Ali will also have a couple of hands-on activities for you to try from the Workshop, including 3D pens and an opportunity to learn about the library’s Silhouette cutting machine.

Make a personalized wooden sign using the library's CNC wood carving machine. Learn how to design for and operate the X-Carve machine in the workshop.

In this beginner's course, get an overview of Google Drive, and learn the basics of how to use this cloud storage service, including creating, editing, and sharing documents, and uploading and organizing files.

Did you receive a new piece of technology this holiday season and need help setting it up or learning how to use it? 

Stop by the Center between 10-12pm and staff and volunteers from the library will be on hand to help figure it out.
