All summer readers are invited to celebrate with us Wednesday, August 30, 4 to 7 pm at the Village Green (the small park across from the Library at the corner of Library Street and Ethun Place). The party will feature music by DJ Justin, a bubble dance party, outdoor games, cotton candy, popcorn, and hot dogs. Each summer reading participant who read and logged at least one book will get one free hot dog; additional hot dogs will be available for a suggested donation of $1, while supplies last.
Come together on the Village Green (corner of Library St. & Ethun Pl.) to enjoy tasty ice cream sundaes and raise money for the DAPL Children's Room remodeling project.
Two-scoop sundaes will be $5 and one-scoop sundaes will be $3, cash or check only.
Event sponsor Turning Point Realty will be scooping up tasty Sassy Cow ice cream and offering a variety of toppings. Thanks to their generous support, 100% of the proceeds will support the Children's Room remodel.
