Steaming Into Wednesdays

Steaming Into Wednesdays are family activity times for preschool through 5th-grade children and their families. 

Explore ways to problem solve and create with us. These programs will feature science, technology, engineering, arts, and math themes.

Touch-A-Truck Storytime

Where
DeForest Fireman's Park

Miss Emily will be joined by members of our Village’s terrific Public Works staff for a special outdoor storytime celebrating National Public Works Week.  

Enjoy truck-themed stories and songs. Stay afterward to explore some of the Village’s big trucks, take a photo or two, and play in the sand.

Move It Mondays

Where
Community Room

Bust those winter blues by bringing your little ones to an open playtime in our Community Room for these fun and creative indoor activities.

A variety of toys, equipment, and activities will be available.

  • Open play is from 1:00 - 2:15
  • Cleanup and Closing Activity is from 2:15 - 2:30

Family Yoga (Full)*

Registration: Register!
Please register everyone (adults and children) who will be attending. 

School-aged kids and their adults will playfully explore yoga poses, breathing exercises, and other mindfulness techniques with songs, books, games, fun props, and imagination activities. Yoga mats and props will be provided.
