Library Board Approved Minutes 2013 Special Meeting

DeForest Area Public Library Special Library Board Minutes
Thursday, October 10, 2013 at 6:15 p.m.

1. Call to Order and Roll Call
   • President Van Iten called the meeting to order at 6:15 p.m.
   • Present : Borden, Englesby, Gorres, Lawrence, Paplow, Van Iten.
   • Absent and excused : Blount.
   • Also present : Berg, Newbegin.
2. Approval of Agenda
   • Motion to Approve : Borden.
   • Second : Gorres.
   • Action : Approved.
3. Discussion and possible approval of 2014 Budget.
   • Berg explained the reason for the special meeting was to discuss and possibly approve the 2014 Library Budget before the October 15th Committee of the Whole meeting. The updated library budget document and line items were explained and discussed. Fundraising was also discussed. Berg will make the changes as requested by the Library Board.
   • Motion to Present the 2014 Budget to the Village with discussed amendments : Gorres.
   • Second : Borden.
   • Discussion : None.
   • Action : Approved.
4. Adjournment
   • Motion to Adjourn : Engelsby.
   • Second : Paplow.
   • Action : Approved.

Meeting was adjourned at 7:30 p.m.
