Weeds, Invasive Species, and Wisconsin Native Species: Who Are They?

Join us for an engaging and informational talk about invasive and native plant species with Jasmine Wyant, Invasive Species Program Coordinator at the Upper Sugar River Watershed Association.

Jasmine will facilitate a discussion about what invasive species are, how invasive species differ from weeds, and why we use these designations when comparing to Wisconsin native species. She will provide information and start the conversation about invasive species in our communities and how we can all make a difference in ensuring native species have space in our community. Please bring your questions about native or invasive species and join the conversation!
