A campfire sing-along is the perfect way to come together to kick off the Summer Reading Program. Ken Lonnquist, songwriter and performer, will lead everyone in singing camp songs, both old and new, and while you make s’mores by the camp fire.
Readers of all ages are invited to come together for summer reading! Start logging books, activities, and more to earn Dragon Dollars for prizes and charitable causes. From the group's bio "We are the Madison Japanese Taiko Group "Beni Daiko," Madison's premiere mainland taiko drumming group.
Our taiko group was founded in November 2012. "Beni" means "deep red" in Japanese, representing Madison, and "Taiko" means drum.
Our goal is to teach, preserve, and perform the ancient art of Taiko drumming, a form of traditional Japanese musical expression that combines mental discipline and physical demand.

The Lilies of the Midwest are a trio of Irish traditional musicians in the Madison, WI area.
Combining the unique sounds of concertina, mandolin, and fiddle, LotM inspire audiences with their infectious energy and joy.
They will be joined by Ohio-based guitarist Rick Nelson, who plays as an honorary lily when available.
Celebrate St. Patrick’s Day with Irish dance and music! Trinity Irish Dancers of Madison will perform and share how dance is part of Ireland’s history.
